Marketing skills for Codex
Short answer: Skills are reusable instruction folders (a SKILL.md plus optional files) that an AI coding agent loads when a task matches. Several tools read this format, so marketing skills written for one may carry over to Codex. We have not yet run our packs in Codex, so we only claim what we have tested.

Skills vs one-off prompts
- A prompt lives in one chat. A skill lives in a folder and is reused.
- A skill carries your rules and steps, so results are more consistent.
- A skill can include reference files and templates; a prompt usually cannot.
- You can read, edit and version a skill like any other file.
Installing skills in Codex
We have not installed or tested our packs in Codex yet, so we do not give Codex-specific steps here. Check the current Codex documentation for where it reads skills from.
General steps that apply to any tool: put the skill folder where the tool looks for skills, start a session, ask for a matching task, and check that the agent follows the skill.
Marketing workflows worth turning into skills
These are the jobs covered by the Marketing Foundations Pack:
- Conversion review of a landing or pricing page (cro).
- Signup and onboarding friction and activation (signup, onboarding).
- Pricing and offers: tiers, packaging, guarantees (pricing, offers).
- SEO audit and schema markup (seo-audit, schema).
- A/B test planning (ab-testing).
Compatibility and limits
- The pack's structure, links and clean install pass our checks (test log, 7 November 2026).
- Runtime tests in Codex: not run. Runtime tests in Claude Code: not yet run either.
- Some skills point to companion skills outside the pack. Those pointers are guidance only.
- The pack is based on open-source work (MIT, Corey Haines), not original work.
